The ICU Staff RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility for providing patient focused health care. The ICU staff nurse will utilize the nursing process, communication skills, and problem solving techniques to deliver quality care. The Intensive Care Unit nurse will also be responsible for the knowledge and technical skill needed to operate a variety of mechanical devices to accomplish this task. The ICU staff nurse is accountable for the age groups (average age group populations includes adults and geriatrics) as defined in the scope of care.
Key Position Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Current State Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License required
- CPR Certification required
- ACLS Certification required
