Position Overview

The cardiac ultrasonographer is a professional diagnostician who works closely with physicians, nurses, cardiology and pulmonary physicians to accurately diagnose medical disorders and perform cardiac ultrasound procedures utilizing current technologies. Ablility to perform EKG’s.

Key Position Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved school of medical ultrasonography
  • Required credentials in ultrasound with the ARDMS-American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers; or CCI-Cardiac Credentialing International
  • At least three years clinical experience in medical ultrasonography
  • Current BLS/CPR required
  • Ability to perform EKG’s required
