Every day, stakeholders at Cancer Treatment Centers of America? (CTCA) at Eastern, are empowered to innovate, develop new processes, and improve patient care. We value the outstanding achievements of our stakeholders for their individual and team contributions. We reward and recognize innovative ideas through the Stakeholder to Stakeholder incentive program.
CTCA® also rewards stakeholders for pursuing healthy lifestyles. Through our Healthy Awards program, stakeholders can earn incentive dollars for various wellness activities, such as personal health assessments and biometric screenings, speaking with a personal lifestyle coach, and participating in CTCA-sponsored runs and walks.
Encouraging our stakeholders and their families to live a healthy lifestyle results in an enhanced work environment, and strengthens our commitment to make a real and lasting difference in the lives of one another, and the people we serve.
At CTCA, it is vitally important to take good care of ourselves. Day-to-day, we watch our patients use personalized, whole-person care to fight cancer and improve quality of life. We know that success for our patients can only be delivered by the healthiest and happiest stakeholders. The CTCA holistic model for wellness and well-being mirrors our healing model; recognizing how every dimension is intertwined. We specifically address seven wellness dimensions - social, emotional, financial, mental, physical, spiritual and professional - that comprise our total well-being.
The main objective of our wellness and well-being program is a healthy, loyal, fully-performing stakeholder in every role so that CTCA can become the "Best Place to Work". We continually strive for excellence in all that we do, and our own health is no different!
At CTCA, we promise our patients the highest quality care, which will only be delivered by happy, healthy stakeholders. It is essential that our stakeholders are able to achieve optimal wellness and well-being. Our philosophy on benefits is simple: empower people with the health care options, resources, and financial incentives they need to be successful.

There are a lot of reasons why a person chooses the profession they do and the company they work for. Some choose a career path because they want to make a difference and others select a position because of monetary reasons. No matter what the rationale, stakeholders at Eastern Regional Medical Center get the best of both worlds. They get to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families while receiving exceptional benefits. Our stakeholders receive incentives for being innovative within their roles. We encourage our stakeholders to constantly challenge themselves to discover new ways to improve patient care or business outcomes.
Our goal is to offer our stakeholders with some extra perks that make their lives easier and enjoyable. For example, we have a popular coffee distributor, La Colombe®, deliver coffee directly to our hospital so stakeholders don’t have to worry about stopping elsewhere for their morning cup of coffee. To help reduce the stress of commuting to work, we offer discounts on bus tokens. Furthermore, we understand the importance of a work-life balance and we know that balance isn’t just about working less or in a different location-- it is about really enjoying the time you have away from work.
At Eastern, we know our stakeholders enjoy coming to work and we want them to remember all of the moments that make their jobs so special. We develop a yearly “Culture Book” to highlight all of the positive events and achievements throughout the year while also allowing stakeholders to express themselves through a personal CTCA story, quote or photo. Some of those images might even include stakeholders participating in yoga, zumba or cardio fusion classes. That is because we offer these classes throughout the week to our stakeholders so they can focus on their health in addition to the health of our patients.
