Through our Healthy Awards program, stakeholders can earn incentive dollars for various wellness activities, such as personal health assessments and biometric screenings, speaking with a personal lifestyle coach, and participating in CTCA-sponsored runs and walks.

There are a lot of reasons why a person chooses the profession they do and the company they work for. Our goal is to offer our stakeholders with some extra perks that make their lives easier and enjoyable. For example, we have a popular coffee distributor, La Colombe®, deliver coffee directly to our hospital so stakeholders don’t have to worry about stopping elsewhere for their morning cup of coffee. To help reduce the stress of commuting to work, we offer discounts on bus tokens. Furthermore, we understand the importance of a work-life balance and we know that balance isn’t just about working less or in a different location-- it is about really enjoying the time you have away from work.
At Eastern, we know our stakeholders enjoy coming to work and we want them to remember all of the moments that make their jobs so special. We develop a yearly “Culture Book” to highlight all of the positive events and achievements throughout the year while also allowing stakeholders to express themselves through a personal CTCA story, quote or photo. Some of those images might even include stakeholders participating in yoga, zumba or cardio fusion classes. That is because we offer these classes throughout the week to our stakeholders so they can focus on their health in addition to the health of our patients.
