Position Overview

The Patient Scheduler / Patient Experience Coordinator communicates directly with patients to maximize the efficiency of the appointment scheduling, travel, and accommodations process. Makes informed decisions in meeting with patients’ individual healthcare needs, while arranging necessary travel to the facility and lodging during the patient’s stay. Gives extraordinary attention to detail in order to meet HIPPA standards while facilitating the overall CTCA patient-centric care model. Provides exceptional customer service to patients, caregivers, doctors, case managers, clinical service departments, transportation, travel providers, and external accommodation providers. Works to resolve concerns and coordinate patient experience to ensure the Mother Standard of patient care and comfort.

Key Position Qualifications

  • HS graduate or equivalent
  • 2-3 years hospital/medical experience preferred
  • Computer/data entry experience
  • Medical records or insurance verification background preferred
  • Customer service background strongly preferred
