Description
Professional care-giver who assumes responsibility and accountability in the performance of all MRI examinations. Provides care to the patients by assessing MRI-related risks and use of contrast medium, positioning patient in MRI scanner, and programming computer to acquire quality images. Maximizes safety for patients, all care-providers, and service personnel through screening and education relative to magnetic field. Maintains requirements for licensure/certification within timeframes established by regulatory agency. Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology A.R.R.T. registered with minimum of one year experience performing MRI scans MRI Certified GE Excite experience preferred Strong communication and patient care skills Must have excellent knowledge of all aspects of MRI imaging and safety Position is Mon through Fri 5:30p – 9:30p On call required every 3^rd week
