IP & Innovation Specialist ( PA )

The IP & Innovation Specialist plays a collaborative role in the vision and strategic direction for Innovation at CTCA. The Specialist supports the creation, management, and protection of Intellectual Property (IP), and is a liaison between the CTCA organization, the hospitals and our Switzerland-based IP Team.

Job Requirements / Responsibilities:

In partnership with our hospitals and Switzerland-based IP team, the IP & Innovation Specialist:

  • Champions a culture of innovation to ensure the sharing of ideas across the organization
  • Collaborates with management, Stakeholders and third parties to manage ideas from inception to implementation, review and document existing innovation processes and develop improvement plans
  • Facilitates structured ideation sessions utilizing the methodologies delineated by the organization
  • Supports the creation, development, management, and protection of IP, and reports IP opportunities to partner IP teams
  • Serves as the site lead for the Ideas Marketplace, an online idea capture and management tool
  • Supports IP Compliance at the hospital site and ensures IP Education across the organization

Required:

  • Minimum of a BS/BA in business, humanities or healthcare related field required
  • 3+ years working experience in professional setting required
  • 1+ years working experience in healthcare preferred
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of LEAN processes and Project Management
  • Must have strong IP knowledge and/or interest in IP and innovation
