Description

The Staff RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility for providing patient focused nursing care. The staff nurse will utilize the nursing process, communication skills, and problem solving techniques to deliver quality care. The staff nurse will also be responsible for the knowledge and technical skill needed to operate a variety of mechanical devices to accomplish this task. The staff nurse is accountable for the age groups (average age group populations includes adults and geriatrics) as defined in the scope of care.

This position is a full-time Registered Nurse position primarily on our 2nd Floor Intensive Care Unit working primarily 12-hour night shifts 7:00pm-7:30am 36 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License or eligible for immediate PA licensure.
• Two years Clinical Nursing experience preferred.
• Previous Intensive Care Unit experience preferred.
• CPR/BCLS and ACLS certifications required.
