OVERVIEW

The Staff RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility for providing patient-focused nursing care. Our outpatient Infusion Department is located on the 3rd floor of the hospital and currently has a seating capacity of 27 chairs. We are currently recruiting for a Flex (Per Diem) Registered Nurse to work 8-hour shifts 11:00am-7:30pm and every third weekend.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The staff nurse will utilize the nursing process, communication skills, and problem solving techniques to deliver quality care. The staff nurse will also be responsible for the knowledge and technical skills needed to operate a variety of mechanical devices to accomplish this task. The staff nurse is accountable for the age groups (average age group populationsincludes adults and geriatrics) as defined in the scope of care.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Current State Pennsylvania Registered Nurse Licensure.
• BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications required.
• At least 2 years Infusion experience required, preferably in an Infusion Center.
