We are currently recruiting for a full-time Charge Nurse / Educator to work primarily 12-hour day shifts primarily 7:00 AM-7:30 PM in our Stem Cell Transplant Unit.
The Charge Nurse / Nurse Educator is responsible for the coordination of the organizational wide plan for orientation, education, and training of staff, along with Education Department members who have similar responsibilities and accountabilities. These coordination activities include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluation of educational programs, which are directed toward the achievement of excellence in patient care. The Nurse Educator also participates in the development of patient education programs that are designed to meet the needs of patients (of the adult age groups).
